Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Billing & Renewals

SigmaQu subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

SigmaQu plans are billed weekly, which means you may see multiple charges in a month while your subscription remains active.

Important: Deleting the SigmaQu app from your device does not cancel your subscription or stop future payments.

2. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time using your device’s store subscription settings:

  • Android (Google Play): Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → SigmaQu → Cancel subscription
  • iOS (Apple App Store): iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → SigmaQu → Cancel subscription

After cancelling, you’ll keep access until the end of your current paid period, and then the subscription won’t renew again.

3. Refunds Overview

Because payments are processed by Apple and Google, refund handling depends on the store you purchased through.

Google Play (Android)

  • Google may offer an automated refund option for eligible purchases (often within 48 hours). If it has been more than 48 hours, Google may ask you to contact the developer first.
  • You can also request a refund directly through Google: Google Play refund request page.
  • If you want us to review a Google Play charge, email our support team with: (1) the email you use to log into SigmaQu, (2) the Google Play billing email (the Google account shown in the Play Store), and (3) the Google Play Order ID (format: GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX) from your receipt. (These emails can be different.)
  • If you believe a charge is unauthorised, you should report it to Google Play as soon as possible (Google generally asks that unauthorised charges are reported within 120 days of the transaction).

Apple App Store (iOS)

  • Apple controls App Store billing and refunds. We do not have access to your Apple payment details and cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
  • To request a refund from Apple, use Apple’s refund portal: reportaproblem.apple.com

Note for UK & EEA customers

If you are located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may have additional cancellation/refund rights for digital services depending on your circumstances. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer laws.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and depend on the store’s rules and applicable consumer laws.

What we typically can help with

  • Duplicate charges caused by a technical issue
  • Billing errors
  • Service not delivered due to a verified technical problem

No partial refunds

  • SigmaQu subscriptions provide access to the platform and a weekly credit allowance for AI tools. We do not offer partial refunds for a billing period.

Subscription usage and weekly credits

  • If our records show the subscription was active and the platform was available during the billing period in question, and that the service was used (for example, AI interactions/credit usage or other in-app activity), refunds for that billing period are generally not offered.
  • A subscription is charged for access to the service and the weekly credit allowance for that period. Not using the app (for example, not logging in or not spending credits) does not automatically make a past billing period refundable.
  • Where there is a verified technical fault that prevented access or use, we will work with you to resolve the issue and, where appropriate, issue a refund in line with the store’s processes.

Digital credits and add-ons

  • If your subscription includes weekly credits, credits that have been used/consumed are generally non-refundable.
  • Any additional credits or logo credits purchased as add-ons are generally non-refundable once used.

Subscriptions that renewed normally because they were not cancelled in time are not typically refundable, especially for older billing periods.
