Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 30 July 2025

Introduction

SigmaQu respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Platform.

1. Important Information and Who We Are

This policy covers our mobile applications and website (the Platform), including account creation, subscriptions, and AI feature use.

The Platform is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.

Controller: SigmaQu, a limited company registered in Scotland (Company Number: SC826093).

Contact: hello@sigmaqu.com. Postal address: EH20 Business Centre Room 212, 6 Dryden Road, Loanhead, Midlothian, Scotland, EH20 9LZ.

You can complain to the UK ICO (www.ico.org.uk), but we would appreciate the chance to resolve concerns first.

We review this policy regularly. Please keep your personal data up to date.

Third-party links may appear on our Platform. We are not responsible for third-party privacy statements.

2. The Data We Collect About You

We may collect Identity Data (name), Contact Data (email and phone), Technical Data (IP, device/browser/system details), Profile Data (account/subscription/feedback), Usage Data (how you use features), Marketing & Communications Data (preferences), and Content Data (AI prompts, uploads, and generated outputs).

We may also use Aggregated Data for analytics and service improvement.

We do not collect Special Category Data (such as health, ethnicity, or religious belief data).

3. How Your Personal Data is Collected

Direct interactions: when you create an account, complete forms, or contact us.

Automated technologies: when you use the Platform, we collect technical and usage data.

AI interactions: when you use AI features, we collect prompts/inputs and resulting outputs.

Analytics, cookies and marketing measurement tools

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate our website, provide core functionality, maintain security, remember basic preferences, and make the website work properly.

With your consent, we also use optional analytics and marketing measurement tools to understand how visitors use our website, improve performance, identify technical issues, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and improve our services.

Non-essential analytics and marketing tools should only load after you give consent through our cookie banner.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags and measurement tools. Google Tag Manager helps us control when analytics and marketing tags are loaded on our website. Google Tag Manager is used to deploy and manage tags, including Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, approximate location based on IP address, device and browser information, referral source, campaign information, and interactions with our website.

We use this information to measure website performance, understand which pages are useful, improve our marketing, and make the website easier to use.

Google Ads conversion tracking

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to help us understand whether our advertising is effective. For example, we may measure when a visitor clicks a link or button that takes them to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Google Ads conversion tracking may use cookies or similar technologies to understand whether a visitor interacted with one of our ads before completing a measured action on our website.

Conversion Linker

We use Google’s Conversion Linker through Google Tag Manager to help preserve ad click information so that Google Ads conversions can be measured correctly.

Google Consent Mode

We use Google Consent Mode to communicate your cookie choices to Google tags. By default, analytics and advertising storage are denied until you give consent. If you accept optional cookies, Google tags may use consented analytics and advertising storage for measurement. If you reject optional cookies, Google tags receive a denied consent signal.

We do not intentionally use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Google Ads conversion tracking to collect passwords, payment card details, or sensitive form contents.

Your choices

You can accept or reject non-essential analytics and marketing measurement cookies through our cookie banner. If you reject optional cookies, non-essential analytics and marketing measurement tools should not use analytics or advertising storage. You can also change your cookie preferences using the cookie settings option where available.

Build the company you can see in your head.

SigmaQu is your thinking space: part coach, part canvas. It will not do the work for you, but it will help you think better, plan faster, and learn the fundamentals as you go.

We built SigmaQu because planning was scattered and slow. We use these same blueprints every week to refine our own strategy, updating answers, testing ideas, and adapting as things change. That is how we want you to use it too: living plans, not one-and-done documents. Open a plan, tweak what is real today, run a quick tool for clarity, ask Sigma for perspective, and keep moving.

It's like having a consultant in your pocket: affordable, always on, and on your side.
